As a senior engineer this position will be responsible for core code development relating to our two most significant features in 2021; patient biofeedback and motion display for structural MRI scans.

This position requires familiarity with our technology stack (or similar) including JavaScript, React (or Angular), Python and C++.  The ideal applicant would have experience with Agile software methods and development of software in a regulated environment.

You will work in a dynamic virtual environment with a high energy group of dedicated engineers, scientists, and clinicians to lead this effort to develop a new-to-the-world solution based on the research application known as FIRMM (Framewise Integrated Real-Time MRI Monitoring). Team members are based in St. Louis Missouri, Portland Oregon, and on the US East Coast. Nous Imaging is based in the St. Louis Cortex district with an office in the CIC.

The NOUS Imaging quality engineer role has three key responsibilities: first line customer support, verification support of research and development outputs and validation support of production software. This role should have some software development experience and can be a stepping-stone to a software engineering position.

The successful quality engineer must have a technical background in IT or software to be equipped to gather information on field issues, interact with sophisticated users, reproduce and solution customer problems and act as the liaison between development engineers and the user.  This may include reaching into the code to diagnose and solution problems.

The ideal quality engineer will have strong written and verbal communication skills to be equipped to author processes and procedures in a regulated medical environment.  In addition, the candidate should demonstrate attention to detail and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will some experience with our technology stack such as python and Javascript and C/C++.

As Engineering Team Lead this position would be responsible for our successful pivot to Agile development methods and responsible for day-day task direction of a small high-performance team. In addition, this principal engineer would have responsibility for a product roadmap feature. This person may have direct management responsibility for the test and customer support function.

The successful applicant must have experience with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and have demonstrate success as a leader and coach. In addition, this position requires familiarity with our technology stack (or similar) including JavaScript, React (or Angular), Python and C++. The ideal applicant would have relevant development experience with image processing and/or medical image applications.

You will work in a dynamic virtual environment with a high energy group of dedicated engineers, scientists, and clinicians to lead this effort to develop a new-to-the-world solution based on the research application known as FIRMM (Framewise Integrated Real-Time MRI Monitoring).
