Who you are You are looking for a senior software engineer position in a fast-paced startup, motivated to do quality work, and excited about developing state-of-the-art medical technology that will impact the future of medical care.

What you will do

  • As a member of the SW development team, you will work with the latest technologies in an agile development environment.
  • You will write and review code (mostly Python and C++) and design documents
  • Closely participate in building clinical products at various stages of the development cycle.
  • You will work on a mixture of prototype and production-ready code
  • You will take part in design discussions and knowledge exchange within the R&D team

What you will need

  • 6+ years in a software engineering role. Skills in software development using one or more of Python, C++, Bash, React, Typescript/Javascript
  • Experience working in cross-functional design teams
  • Understanding of Dev-Ops tools and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.

What we would love that you have (preferred)

  • Full-stack experience including API design, scalable web services, and data stores
  • Experience in working in a medical regulated field and under a Quality Management System.
  • Understanding and experience of medical data communication protocols such as DICOM and HL7 and workflows

Who you are  You are looking for a Research Scientist Position in a fast-paced startup, motivated to do quality work and excited about developing state-of-the-art medical technology that will impact the future of medical care.  

What you will do  As a member of the pre-development team, you will work with the latest neuro imaging algorithms and collaborate with our internal and external experts in the field   

  • You will design and develop algorithms that extract functional information from structural and functional brain MRI scans 
  • You will assess and integrate new technologies and capabilities (prototyping, testing) for the organization 
  • Closely participate in building clinical products at various stages of the development cycle. 
  • You will take part in design discussions and knowledge exchange within the R&D team 

What you will need 

  • Experience in neuroimaging such as functional MRI, diffusion MRI and network connectivity analysis 
  • Experience in medical imaging data management, preprocessing and analysis pipeline for neuroimaging MRI. 
  • Good knowledge of MR Physics 
  • Track record of conducting independent research  
  • Familiarity with standard image-processing algorithms and/or deep learning basics 
  • Doctoral degree in Engineering / Applied Physics / Computer Science / Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.   

What we would love that you have (preferred) 

  • Experience in programming MRI sequences for one or more of Siemens, GE and Philips MR scanners 
  • Skills in software development using Python, Matlab and/or C++  
  • Experience using packages such as Freesurfer, AFNI, FSL, fMRIPrep, 4dfp
